             FOUNDING PASTORS

1 January 1989 EEC founded with 70 people attending the inaugural service at St. Peter’s Church, Vere Street, London W1
April 1989 First Easter Conference and baptism held at Oak Hill College, North London
March 1991 Purchase of centre at 31 Linhope Street, London W1. (Sold in May 1995)
October 1991 Chua Wee Hian appointed full time pastoral leader. Dr. John Stott was the preacher at his installation.
5 June 1995 Graham Cooke prophesied over Emmanuel Church and many of his prophecies were fulfilled within two years
September 1996 EEC became a cell church
22 October 1996  Successful bid for 9-23 Marsham Street.
15 January 1997 Possession of the above. £1.25 million raised for the acquisition of Emmanuel Centre
29 January 1997 Offices moved to Emmanuel Centre whilst centre was being renovated and refurbished
25 May 1997 Pentecost Sunday: First service at Emmanuel Church
12 July 1997 Emmanuel  Centre dedicated with 600 people present.
June 1997-April 1999 Weekly revival meetings organised by Pioneer were held at the centre. Centre being increasingly used by church networks.
March 1998 Sunday School became “e-Kidz”
February 2001 Youth Church began regular services
September 2001 Emmanuel Family to the Nations Spanish Church were given shelter to start their church at the centre
April 2002 Cantonese Congregation started, with Bobby Sung as acting Pastor
September 2002 Pastor Patricia Boo, assigned by GLN to train our cell pastor and Zone Leaders for 8 months
October-November 2002 Realignment of cells+
November 2005 Naomi Dowdy became presiding Apostle of EEC
January 2006 Vision of Emmanuel North West Church introduced at annual Leaders Summit.
April 2006 42-26 Station Road, Edgware identified as possible centre for North West Church Plant.
December 2006 Emmanuel North West Church launched 
April 2008 Chinese Congregation became independent, as Emmanuel Chinese Church (London)
October 2008 Chua Wee Hian completed his ministry as Senior Pastor of EEC
November 2008 Peter Loo installed as new Senior Pastor of EEC
